Crucifixion #2

Here's another Crucifixion painting. I want to be very straight forward with these paintings. I'm not going to sugar coat things. Jesus went through hell for us and I want people to see that. I want them to feel it.
This painting deals with God's favor, anointing, and blessing in our lives and how we hold him back, due to the choices we make. Look at the legs. It's covered in blood. There should be blood pouring down like a river. Yet only one drop falls. His blood represents life and blessing. That one drop shows how we restrict God from moving in our lives.

I hope to be done with my next painting in a couple weeks. It will be called "God is Big Business"...

Chartpak sketches

I've never been one to have sketch books on me. Nor do I sketch out side the park. Well.... Now that I've been laid off I have a lot of time on my hands to start. I will try my best to post at least one sketch a day in hopes to produce a faster, sellable style for publication.
I recently started using these chartpak markers. Here's a couple of sketches I did using the chartpak and color sticks.

Passion

Sorry about the fuzzy scan and the water marks.  My scanner is to small. Once I get a picture of the painting Ill post it on my site without the water marks so you can get a better look.

I had fun with this one.  It was my first time putting my love for God and exaggeration in one painting.

Danny Trejo

Danny Trejo
(acrylic paint)
Danny Trejo has got to be one of my biggest heros.  Just to see how God moves in his
life is amazing.  If you have a chance, check out his documentary called "Champion".  It's about his
life and how he went from convict facing death to movie star

JOJO MAYER
This is a lil sketch I did for Jean.  JOJO is one of the most amazing percussionist in the world.
And Jeans favorite. Go to
